Admission

  • The nature park and the nature park centre are open to all visitors free of charge – do pop in and enjoy nature without any fuss!

  • If you enjoy your visit, we’d be delighted to receive a voluntary donation in one of our donation boxes at the Nature Park Centre. In doing so, you’ll be making a valuable contribution to the preservation of the nature park and the protection of the moor.

  • Use of our car park is also free of charge – whether you’re travelling by car, coach or bike. To charge electric vehicles, you’ll need an Ella fuel card.

How to find us

The Nature Park Centre – and therefore your starting point for visiting the nature park – is situated directly on Waidhofener Straße (B5), just outside Heidenreichstein in the direction of Waidhofen an der Thaya.

Our tip: The nature park is also easily accessible by bike via several cycle paths.

Free car parks with electric charging points and cycle racks are available right next to the Nature Park Centre.

Travelling by public transport

The nature park is easily accessible by public transport:

Get off at the ‘Adolf Zimm Weg – Naturpark’ bus stop and the nature park centre is just a short walk of around 500 metres away.

Alternatively, you can walk from Heidenreichstein bus station to the nature park centre in around 20 minutes (approx. 1.2 km). There are also connections
from the bus station to ÖBB railway stations along the Franz-Josefs-Bahn line.
